What a clever idea to use tights/stockings/nylons (or whatever the reader's country calls them)!! They are in essence a very, very fine net and being of non-natural fibres are an ingenious idea to act as a platform for glass-fibre. Absolutely brilliant!!

Transmission...I have 1999 BMw 740i 300K miles.. when I start up, put in reverse to back out of driveway, it does not engage; I put in Drive, it engages, then back in rverse, it engages no problem. Sometomes does same thing in drive. This has been going on for six months. What's the issue? Is it fixable without new transmissiin?
